Moisture content (pressure dew point)

Water is an optimal basis for the growth of undesirable microbiological contamination. Pressurized gases in particular are being strictly regulated by national and international Pharmacopoeia in respect to moisture concentration with a maximum concentration of 67 ppmV. ISO 8573 defines classes corresponding to the pressure dew point as well. At the same time, the dependence of the upcoming line pressure should be observed and always be related to a defined line pressure. The specifications of Pharmacopoeias require high-resolution testing equipment and a careful preparation and execution of the measurements.

DPhE uses a hygrometer calibrated according to NIST with which our experts determine the exact moisture content at your site. Furthermore, conversion in company-specific humidity values and ISO 8573 are possible.
